February 21st, 2026 - "Faith's Birthday Part 1"

Yesterday, I remembered out of nowhere that my friend Faith's birthday was tomorrow. (Tomorrow as in tomorrow in relation to yesterday, so today, not tomorrow as in tomorrow in relation to today.) She was having it at the bowling alley in town. Very cool.

Anyway, I realized that I completely forgot and had basically no time to prepare for it, also needing to work on a lot of homework. The biggest problem overall was that I'm unable to drive, unfortunately -- though that ought to start changing come March -- and my mother had just gotten done telling me off for not doing homework. So of course, she decided that it was the perfect opportunity to make me get stuff done.

If I didn't complete six homework assignments today, she wouldn't let me go. Sort of messed up considering it was my friend's party and she was already expecting me, but that aside, I did them anyway. Four of them. Not six. I just lied and she didn't really care to check like she said she'd do. So that didn't end up being that big of an issue anyway.

In the end, the stupid bowling alley messed up and rented out all of their lanes for the night so Faith had to reschedule for tomorrow. (Tomorrow as in tomorrow in relation to today, so tomorrow, not as in tomorrow in relation to yesterday.) Moral of the story: I don't know.

In other news, The Epic Adventure to Nowhere Specific is scheduled to have the first episode rewritten tomorrow. So that's cool. Today, in preperation, me and Mason, the voice actor for Chloe, decided to do a reading of the first four episodes. Unfortunately, we were only able to get partially through episode two before he had to leave. Something about a bunch of people coming to his house and being really loud and annoying. He didn't explain it well, but he seemed far more annoyed about it than I ended up being. Poor guy.

We tried to get some other people to join like Jason, David and Alex but they were all busy or just didn't respond. Jonathan even basically quit the show since it took so long to have any work done that he'd already invested his time into other projects. I don't blame him, really. Making this show is like fighting a losing battle at this point.
