In late 2021, I discovered a long-running internet series called Khonjin House. The show utilized lots of random, loud and shock humor that I, at the time, found extremely entertaining.
My favorite episodes in the show were a few similarly named entries titled Heist 1-4. Unfortunately, those episodes were few and far between and only amounted to around six minutes of content in total. That was when I got an idea.
By early 2022, I'd seen just about all of the content that Khonjin House had to offer, but I still wanted more, so, seeing it done a few times before to moderate success, I threw together a quick clone featuring an old character design of mine that I was unable to find use elsewhere for as the main character, naming him Hatguy Jones and sloppily drawing up some supporting characters.
The Better-iminals was born.
